The Urban League of Greater Chattanooga selected the trio to keynote its Annual Luncheon

[CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, May 23] Slim & Husky’s Pizza Beeria co-owners Derrick Moore, Emanuel Reed, and Clint Gray are the keynote speakers at the 6th annual Entrepreneur Power Luncheon hosted by the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga (ULGC) on Tuesday, May 28 at 11:30 a.m.

Slim & Husky’s will recall their experiences ideating and creating the business from scratch, describe their current situation, and provide a vision for the future of the brand.

Presented in conjunction with BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, the sold-out event will inspire prospective entrepreneurs and honor local business owners at the Chattanooga Convention Center.

“The owners of Slim & Husky’s represent something that the ULGC would like to continue fostering in Chattanooga,” President and CEO of the ULGC Warren Logan, Jr. said. “It is the type of business that is growth-oriented. Slim & Husky’s hires people within the community and trains them to acquire skills they did not previously have.”

Tickets are sold out, but more details about the event can be found here. Logan expects to entertain between 600 and 800 attendees.

“Emanuel, Derrick, and I are honored that Warren and the ULGC chose us as the keynote speakers for this event,” S&H Chief Marketing Officer Clint Gray said. “We were budding entrepreneurs ourselves not that long ago. We enjoy sharing our struggles, triumphs, and stories with others who have a dream and drive.”
